<p>Boerne is a city in and the county seat of Kendall County, Texas, United States, in the Texas Hill Country. Boerne was named in honor of German author and publicist Ludwig B&ouml;rne. The population of Boerne was 10,471 at the 2010 census, and in 2018 the estimated population was 17,106.</p>
<p>Boerne came into being as an offshoot of the Texas Hill Country&nbsp;Free Thinker&nbsp;Latin Settlements, resulting from the&nbsp;Revolutions of 1848 in the German states. Those who came were&nbsp;Forty-Eighters, intellectual liberal abolitionists who enjoyed conversing in&nbsp;Latin&nbsp;and who believed in utopian ideals that guaranteed basic human rights to all.<sup id="cite_ref-Freethinkers_of_the_Early_Texas_Hill_Country_7-0" class="reference"></sup>&nbsp;They reveled in passionate conversations about science, philosophy, literature, and music.<sup id="cite_ref-German_Intellectuals_on_the_Texas_Frontier_8-0" class="reference"></sup>&nbsp;The Free Thinkers first settled&nbsp;Castell,<sup id="cite_ref-9" class="reference"></sup>&nbsp;Bettina,<sup id="cite_ref-10" class="reference"></sup>&nbsp;Leningen,<sup id="cite_ref-11" class="reference"></sup>&nbsp;and Schoenburg in&nbsp;Llano County. These experimental communities were supported by the&nbsp;Adelsverein<sup id="cite_ref-12" class="reference"></sup>&nbsp;for one year. The communities eventually failed due to lack of finances after the Adelsverein funding expired, and conflicts of structure and authorities. Many of the pioneers from these communities moved to&nbsp;Sisterdale, Boerne, and&nbsp;Comfort.<sup id="cite_ref-13" class="reference"></sup></p>
<p>As of the&nbsp;census<sup id="cite_ref-GR2_30-0" class="reference"></sup>&nbsp;of 2000, 6,178 people, 2,292 households, and 1,613 families resided in the city. The&nbsp;population density&nbsp;was 1,061.1 people per square mile (409.9/km<sup>2</sup>). The 2,466 housing units averaged 423.5 per square mile (163.6/km<sup>2</sup>). The&nbsp;racial makeup of the city was 94.76% White, 0.36% African American, 0.37% Native American, 0.16% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 3.29% from other races, and 1.05% from two or more races. Hispanics or Latinos of any race were 19.44% of the population. Of the 2,292 households, 36.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.0% were married couples living together, 10.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.6% were not families. About 25.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.10.</p>
<p>In the city, the population was distributed as 26.0% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 26.7% from 25 to 44, 23.0% from 45 to 64, and 17.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females, there were 84.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 80.1 males.</p>

Boerne

<p>Bulverde, Texas is a city in Comal County. Bulverde dates back to the period 2,500 to 600 B.C. when the Native Americans lived in the area. The area was known for their arrowheads known as Bulverde Point, which can still be found in the city today. In 1880&rsquo;s, Bulverde was a great stopping point for travelers. Travelers come to Bulverde from all over to escape the demanding city lifestyle. The tranquil, soothing atmosphere in Bulverde is difficult to find in todays society. Bulverde, Texas is known as home to MLB Baseball Player Jason LaRue, musician Augie Meyers, and former republican member of the Texas House of Representatives Nathan Macias.</p>
<p>Opportunities for recreation, adventure, and fun are abundant in Bulverde. Bulverde is home to amazing cycling and running roads. The hilly terrain is filled with remarkable views of Texas Hill Country. Live oak trees and blooming wildflowers often line the roads of Bulverde. Bulverde is only an 18 minute drive away from Guadalupe River State Park in Spring Branch. This state park is one of the most beautiful parks in Texas. Visitors can take pleasure in tubing, hiking, fishing, camping, swimming, picnicking, and canoeing. Honey Creek State Natural Area is a guided walking tour in Guadalupe River State Park. Individuals on the tour can see two miles worth of incredible flora and fauna. Enjoy a traditional Texas rodeo every Saturday night at Tejas Rodeo Company. The Tejas Rodeo Company does an excellent job of providing a thrilling and entertaining experience for all of their guests. Enjoy this family friendly atmosphere filled with bull riders, barrel racers, mutton buston, and dancing.</p>

Bulverde

<p>Canyon Lake is a census-designated place (CDP) in Comal County, Texas, United States. The population was 21,262 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Canyon Lake CDP includes a number of small, unincorporated communities surrounding Canyon Lake, including Sattler, Startzville, Canyon City, Cranes Mill, and Hancock. Communities located on the fringes of the CDP are Fischer, Spring Branch, and Smithson Valley.</p>

<p>Fair Oaks Ranch is a city in Bexar, Comal, and Kendall counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 5,986 at the 2010 census and an estimated 9,700 in 2018. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area.</p>
<p>The land on which Fair Oaks Ranch rests was acquired in the 1930s by Ralph Fair Sr., who worked in the oil industry and owned cattle and racehorses. A residential community was established by Fair's family in the 1970s and the community was incorporated in 1988.</p>

New Braunfels

<p>A significant portion of Spring Branch that borders the&nbsp;Guadalupe River&nbsp;was first settled by German native Adam Becker (1815&ndash;1901). Becker journeyed to Texas in 1845 to join&nbsp;Prince Carl of Solms-Braunfels&nbsp;in establishing a colony on behalf of the&nbsp;Adelsverein, also known as the German Emigration Company. Becker contributed to the building of&nbsp;Fredericksburg, Texas, and assisted with other aspects of the colony. He married Elizabeth Monken and by 1852 had established his homestead on what is now Phantom Rider Trail in Spring Branch. On his homestead, he raised cattle. The house he built for his family, which was privately restored in the first decade of the 21st century, was constructed of locally quarried stone and hand-hewn cypress from the banks of the nearby&nbsp;Guadalupe River. Adam Becker became a United States citizen in 1860 and upon his death in 1901 was buried in the cemetery on his homestead.</p>

Bennie Brownlee is one of those rare almost mythical individuals we refer to when we reminisce about the good old days. Knowledge, competence, and integrity. He promised us the moon, and then delivered it and added a few stars for good measure. He promised us a lot, then delivered more. Bennie took a lot of time with us and asked a lot of questions. Pretty soon, he knew what we were looking for better than we did. At one point, I wanted to make an offer on a piece of real estate and Bennie agreed it would be a good deal and he would help us try to get it at that price. However, he kept asking us questions about our plans until we realized what he already knew. That was the wrong property for our dreams. He could have made his money then, but he put his personal gain on hold to keep us from making what he could see would have been a big mistake. Instead, he kept at it, showing us property after property that we loved, but were not quite sure of. We just did not know what we wanted, but with each property shown, he got more answers to his questions. On our third day with Bennie, after showing us another piece of real estate, just like we were asking to see, he said "I want to show you something different". He found us paradise. Mr. Brownlee's negotiating skills are second to none. He has a gift that keeps things moving forward while keeping both sides at the table. I want him on my side whether purchasing or selling. His service does not stop after closing. He spent an evening of his own time helping me install some electronics, just because he wanted our first days to be more enjoyable. I needed help unloading some heavy furniture and he got some guys there on short notice. I had to make them let me pay them a fair fee for the service. As a real estate developer, Bennie knows who to call for good service for just about anything. Bennie recently sold a home for me. He is hard working and very responsive to your needs. He is so hard working that he came out to my property to see it on a rainy day and he was already soaking wet from working at other properties.
